New Art Supplies!

Like any artist I LOVE getting new art supplies! Last week I got some new squeegees and brayers from the Cold Wax Academy and this week I received some supplies from a brand new company, well new to me, from right here is Canada called Kama Pigments. I learned about this company from a fellow Canadian Artist, Johanne Brouillette on Instagram. She was talking about these non water-soluble graphite sticks that she uses and I just had to try them. As an oil and cold wax artist I’m always on the look out for any tools that can make lines through thick paint or on top of semi-dry or tacky paint. Especially thin lines.

So Happy…

…with this new to me Canadian Company, Kama Pigments!

Each Item…

…was packaged so well. I was very impressed! I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I ordered…

…two tubes of titanium white paint, two graphite sticks (one black and one silver) and one olive green oil stick.

I can’t wait to test out these graphite sticks a bit more and do some experimenting with them. So far I like how large they are. Should be interesting to see what kind of lines I can get after I wear them down a bit.

HAPPY PAINTING!
